My Little Family

We've had a few photos taken of us as a family since Drew was born, but this one is really special to me. The other ones were posed which we have to do to remember events and make sure we at least got one good family shot. But this one is different because we were just in our own little backyard. Logan was grilling dinner, Drew was exploring our tree that has to be cut down(the only actual tree that we own), the sun was warm, the grass was cool, the birds were singing, the bugs were biting...the perfect summer evening. And I just hugged my family and took a picture. A little snapshot of our first summer as a family. We are surviving, thriving, and living life through our little guy's bright eyes.
